This bad boy takes everything you loved about the first book and cranks it up to eleven! It’s jam-packed with parallel Earths, interdimensional shenanigans, and enough family drama to make the Kardashians jealous.
So, our hero Iapura, after successfully establishing his new empire on a different Earth, decides to expand his territory. But guess what? It blows up in his face! Literally. His plan to conquer the Mmbuto é goes belly-up, and now he’s in desperate need of allies. Talk about biting off more than you can chew, am I right?
Meanwhile, we’ve got Ivy, the kick-ass warrior star, fighting her own personal war on Etu. She’s got enemies coming at her from all sides, and to make matters worse, Arnold, that sneaky son of a biscuit, betrays her! Can she survive the chaos and kick some serious butt? We’ll have to find out.
The author, Andrew J. Harvey, does a fantastic job of keeping the action and suspense going. You won’t be able to tear your eyes away from the page as our heroes face off against sibling rivalries and crumbling empires. It’s like a soap opera on steroids, but in the best possible way.
Now, here’s the deal. “Nadir” assumes you’ve read the first book, so if you’re new to the series, you might feel a little lost at first. But fear not! Once you dive in, you’ll be swept up in the fast-paced storyline and get to know these characters like they’re your new BFFs.
The coolest part of “Nadir” is the way Andrew J. Harvey builds these parallel Earths. Each one has its own flavor and quirks, and it’s like stepping into a whole new dimension (pun intended). The interdimensional politics will make your head spin, but in the most mind-blowing way possible.
All in all, “Nadir” is a mind-blowing sequel that’ll leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, craving more of this addictive trilogy.
